It needs more scheduling options.

I have the WeMo plugins, they work okay, constantly asking to upgrade firmware. The firmware upgrade process is not user friendly

Absolutely love the concept and idea behind this but Belkin made a horrible sub par quality product. The thing when working is great however when is the word of the day. This piece of junk resets and disconnects from my wifi probably once every week or two. I know you are sitting there thinking its not a big deal which I would agree if the reset was easy. That being said resetting it means reinstalling the app, unplugging and plugging the unit back in, reconfiguring my app and even then it takes me probably six tries and thirty minutes to figure out. Not worth the money, this product is absolute garbage. Needless to say mine is smashed into a million pieces on my floor. Screw you Belkin. Now I have two light bulbs that were $50 ... F***

Had and still do, a lot of issues with the Ihome product but found wemo completely opposite. Super easy to set up and use. So far Mine has worked very well 100% of the time. Good buy.

Its very easy to set up out of the box. The initial firmware update failed but I then realized the switch had to be on. Then I did it again, No Problem

Has worked flawlessly for me.

Needs widget screen integration. Works well with ifttt and do buttons but needs more in app settings and customization.

Works as expected. Simple, clean and dies the job. My only wish is that you could copy/duplicate rules, instead of having to make new ones from scratch

Dont waste your money on buying this product

I have tried to change the time to tun on/off. Every time I tried to change the time App shuts down and I cannot change or add another setting!

Great ideas and brilliant hardware, but your app crashes all the time as was made to die... Come on! Test it! :)

The text in menus is awful

It would be useful to be able to build a rule allowing a delayed turn switch on

Sometimes devices are difficult to install because they are bulky and there is no reason for this. Furthermore there should be a version of the switch that is a small box to hide into a wall box with wires directly connected. For the motion sensor there should be a place to see all motion events not simply the last two.

The server is often unavailable. App crashes. Setup is complex... Not a good product for home automation

Setup is quite impossible for lack of info on the product hidden configuration. App is poor and not easily performing well. The market price is too high for simple switch function. Hope competitors will come soon.
