Wemo App Reviews

The lights schedule is not working. I bought 5 light bulbs 2 years ago, the schedule were working fine. Since the 2 last upgrades, schedule fails each time. I have tried everything. Check their community forum. The thread is flooded with users dealing with the same issue. This is NOT something to buy. The wemo plugs i have are working fine though.

I really miss Wemo in my todsy screen. Third party apps can do that but not outside my lical Wifi. When is Homekit support coming?

The automatic Programmes could be easier to programme and more intuitive in handling. The random time variation should be an explicit function

Keeps crashing while I try to setup my wlan and renders my wemo useless!

Last update screwed up everything. Keep loosing contact whit all switches. This is enough, taking out all the devices. No more Belkin

Never works...I got 5 switches for my home. The app keeps disconnecting from the devices and I need to reconfigure once a week. Its been nothing but a headache for me. Shop around for another brand, from what I understand, the ones that have a central hub are a lot more stable. This one isnt even compatible with Apple HomeKit.

This thing is always updating. Its updating so much that its useless. Lol

Bought a WeMo wall plug and it worked for awhile. Suddenly stops working, demands a firmware upgrade. Now it wont reconnect to the system, wont transmit a network and basically is now just an expensive paper weight. Disappointing.

Gets worse with every update. Avoid WeMo products. Do not buy.

The device no longer connects to wifi. Instable. Spent hours trying to connect and reconnect. Frustrating. In the garbage it goes, and I hate to pollute!

Recently purchased several of the plug in Wemo plugs to simplify timer issues and have our Christmas lights turn on and off with a timer but ready to toss this to the curb. Have had nothing but issues from the day I purchased and now there saying not detected. Wouldnt recommend to anyone !!!!!

Will either not find the WeMo network even after multiple restores, or once finds the WeMo network, it will not connect to the home network and just errors out. Tried everything, restore, restarting, force quit, deleting. Beyond frustrating. Dont bother with the WeMo devices.

Absolutely POOR performance since the last update. Dont waste your money or your time. Ill be switching to Philips Hue as soon as I can afford it.

A few hiccups but issues were resolved. Overall, decent home automation solution.

Updated the app because I lost connectivity on two devices. Uninstalled and reinstalled but app crashes everything after entering wifi credentials

Used to work great. Setting up rules was a little confusing but overall I used to love the product. Now it is useless. It no longer connects. Sure you can still use it manually but then whats the point.

I have had both the sockets and the light switches and they have never consistently connected to the app. All of them have good signal but terrible performance. Not worked at all. I thought Belkin as a larger brand would have more reliable products. Gives home automation a bad name.

Made the mistake of resetting my Switches. Now Im unable to finish the setup process making my devices useless until they fix the app. Wonderful product..

Terrible product. They dont want to fix the app. They say its a technologies malfunctions. Then why sell the product. People wake up and smell the coffee - your slow cooker cost 3 times

Not sure why all the 1 star reviews. Works fine for me, plugged it in, I connected to the WeMo wifi and set it up to turn my Christmas lights on and off. Only works on 2.4GHZ wifi, maybe thats why all the 1 star reviews.
