These devices dont work when you enable multiple SSIDs on the 2.4Ghz band. I cannot have a guest network on to use this. Bad bad bad firmware.

A little bit tricky to set up but it works awesome, no need to call in an electrician to wire a 3 way switch back to my house. TOTALLY AWESOME

When are you guys going to add HomeKit enable we are still waiting for that option but instead you make another product and this new product doesnt even have HomeKit.

I have 2 switches and one keeps dropping its connection. Ive been in I.T for 20 years and do not like products that need so much troubleshooting!!

I am a master electrician and a low voltage control expert. I picked and matched different brands to work out the best combination for home automation system which outplayed some famous market brands. WeMo surprised me with most stable and reliable performance, good stuffs!

Easy to set up and use.

Although a bit tricky to hook up in an older home with small device boxes, and older wiring, the system is fairly intuitive, and pretty reliable so far. I have had one device fail, but on the whole, really great to use.

I have six(6) switches and a plug. Have them for a couple years now. The devices themselves work great, once set they keep to the schedule programmed. My problem is the app. It is unstable. Sometimes it detects the devices sometimes it does not. I have the app on multiple Apple devices. One device shows all switches, another shows some switches not detected and another shows none, all at the same time. This happens at home or away. I really like this product but I hate how unstable the app is. Also, you really do need an electrician to wire the switches. I would buy again.

Update: over the years the WeMo app has improved and its not a lot more responsive. The switches themselves, once set with my rules, work nearly perfectly. I needed a way to control my yard lights automatically (on at sunset -- which varies a lot in my latitude --, off at 10pm type of thing) with a manual override (companys here -- leave em on longer) and WeMo saved me hacking Arduino and building an iPhone app. I hooked up WeMo to an ifttt automaton and voila! (Ifttt is neat, and neater with WeMo). The set up was straightforward and the only glitch was a factory reset was necessary to have it work with ifttt. I now have half-dozen or more of these automating various things from lights to water recirculating pumps, etc.

Easy install, very convenient, no problems at all.

Absolute junk. Will not connect to wifi. Zero app support available. Online support only says to try the steps again.

Ive got all single pole switches fitted and a few plugs working. I would really like a dimmer and dual/three way switches as well. So can you do that Belkin?

Issue with other devices that cannot be removed that are not mine are still showing up. Also tried troubleshooting with emails nothing helped… why is other people devices showing up in other peoples stuff????

Belkin hardware and software developers must be complete morons. Two and half years of dealing w/ Belkins garbage app that barely freaking works and Im finally giving up. Ive sold all 9 of my wemo garbage insight switches and bought 9 others (different brand) that actually work, and work well. Shame on Belkin for torturing me w/ continued unreliability over 30 months, despite 8 app updates and a similar number of firmware updates. Dont trust wemo. Its complete garbage.

Update takes forever. Its been almost 24 hours since I hit the update button and now all my devices are stuck in downloading mode. I cannot control the devices because of said downloading mode. Fix this issue.

When it works its great. Sadly, there are a few too many resets required for my taste. Im giving it a two because like I said "When it works...." Make a better product.

Never had 1 problem after 2 months power failures always reconnected automatically. Extremely simple setup. The Scheduling is not extremely straightforward but easy enough.

According to the press release I believe this was post to be completed in December 2016. No update yet. You boys are a little behind the curve. Never promise Im not deliver.

Works only o.k. Frequent loss of contact with even items right next to router. Updates slower than slow. Will be replacing with more comprehensive, reliable, system. Too bad.

I have the WeMo light switch and have just installed the WeMo mini outlet. The iPhone app that we WeMo put out, makes it all worth doing. I love the fact that I can press the button on the WeMo outlet to turn it on and off for my coffee maker. Or just rely on the timed settings Ive set to turn on and off through the WeMo app.
